Nancy Pelosi...

(1/1)

Giuliano Taverna:
So... is there any semblance of doubt left that she's an accomplice to what she claims was torture, the much maligned harsh interrogation techniques? I mean just listen to her, I half expected her to quote Bill Clinton directly. Her speech was a dead stand in for his denial of the affair. Of course in this case, not only did she lie to the American people. But she actually lied about something important.

I have no idea how Pelosi defines "is" but I know how she apparently defines torture, and since her concern at the time was whether intelligence was going far enough to get information, I think her definition excludes the harsh interrogation techniques employed by our intelligence in the aftermath of the 9-11 attacks.

--- Quote ---"We were not -- I repeat -- were not told that waterboarding or any of these other enhanced interrogation methods were used." Pelosi
--- End quote ---

--- Quote ---"Listen America, I don't think you heard me the first time. I did not have sexual relations with that woman." Bill Clinton.
--- End quote ---

Denial with a capital D.
