The social contract
« on: April 16, 2009, 05:33:22 pm »
Its my intention to make this forum fair, and in order to do that I welcome users to get together and form groups to pursue whatever they wish. Form factions, unions, clubs, societies, it doesn't matter to me.

Just follow the rules, and if you have suggestions on new rules, or changes to existing rules or changes to the site, you may discuss them here.

My suggestion:
When a new post is made, make it default to redirect to the thread (and your just-made post) instead of the subforum

Seconded, it's more livable that way.

Then it's settled.

I have to figure out how to do that, (kind of new at this.)

Since logic dictates if you could do that you would just fix the problem yourself, I don't believe you. Neither me nor Nin can figure out how, we are going to email the host to inquire into the matter.

I believe you can achieve this yourself by simply selecting the option "Return to topics after posting by default." in the 'look and layout' preferences in your profile.

Unless I have misunderstood the requirement.

Thanks, that was extremely helpful. I'll take the liberty of updating lenny's profile so he has this setting, and should anyone else want this, I can do it for them too.
