One of the most common single payer devotee Obama care supporter, (note Obama care isn't single payer but that's what most of its supporters really want) talking points is that the cost of emergency room visits is making healthcare prohibitively expensive and by extending healthcare coverage to everyone in the country we can eliminate this cost.

Unfortunately like most of the claims behind healthcare reform, its a lie. Cue Joe Wilson

Here in the peoples republic of Massachusetts we have universal healthcare coverage, under mass health acording to the liberal boston newspaper owned by the liberal new york newspaper the new york times, the Boston Globe,  emergency room costs have risen not fallen. Now why is that? Its because people aren't going to stop having emergencies just because they have healthcare coverage. Did you really think regular check ups would prevent people from being hit by cars, shot, overdose on drugs, or suffering strokes, heart attacks, or any number of illnesses that even people who have regular check ups never know about until the first onset of symptoms which can be fatal?

Of course not.

So, another fake reason to support ObamaCare falls by the wayside, sooner or later the Obama supporters are going to have to give up this futile struggle against reality.
