How could I refuse an invite to the forum of our very own Gaius Iulius Tabernarius?  Greetings from the SVR, Tabernarii - why don't we see you over there any more (www.societasviaromana.net)? 

In any event, good to hear from you.  And now I'll have a look at the intro posts from Sandman and Alia.

as for SVR I have been fairly busy lately. but I will make a point of visiting there in the near future.
