INDIO -- Police are defending their use of a taser on a naked party-goer at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival.

The incident was captured on video which is being widely circulated on the Internet.

Police say 23-year-old Johnathan Fredrick Felch, of San Luis Obispo, was arrested around 7:15 p.m. on April 17 at the Empire Polo Fields on suspicion of being drunk in public and resisting arrest.

Video shows the **** and apparently inebriated man surrounded by three officers who attempt to coax him into putting his clothes back on.  At one point, the officers toss Felch a robe, which he discards.

Somehow seeing that dirty hippy drop to the ground in anguish gives me this warm fuzzy feeling deep inside. I just wish they would have beaten him a little.

It was a music and arts festival, odds are he wasn't the only naked hippy.

The clip I saw made it seem like the guy was on drugs, probably a mood enhancer or hallucinogen.
