It raises the profound and attractive proposition of using free market principles to save the environment from overuse and pollution.

I found it fascinating. A bit to gradual for my tastes, but definitely preferable to direct government intervention.

If the free market can accomplish something, it will do it better than government. The government in my view should only step in where it has to, and act with caution.

The economy is extremely complicated, so much so that it is difficult to effect without creating adverse side effects. Now that's not saying its impossible, but its definitely a risk. I think the problem with liberals today is that they are far too ambitious and caviler about their policies.
