My forth of july
« on: July 04, 2009, 11:44:07 pm »
I spent the day at my grandmothers house in Borne Massachusetts, and I went swimming and quahoging, then later on I saw the fireworks at the old soldiers home. the following pictures are of the score I got.

And here is my dinner.

And for good measure, here is my dog after swimming, just because.

You pulled clams out of some lake and ate them, and you didn't die. Congratulations!

That wasn't a lake, it was butter milk bay and its an open fishery, hence my need to have a permit handy. A lot of people were out picking clams. I've been doing it since I was 5.

There are rules, and we keep up to date on when the shell fishery is open and when it is closed. The area is monitored nonstop for pollutants and we are only allowed to take clams of a certain size from certain areas. I didn't "just grab them out of a lake and eat them"

For a Neo Nazi you sure do have kosher attitude towards shellfish. Its good, and its good for you, very low in fat, and high in protein and minerals.

You know, I never said they were stupid. If I lived in the times of the Old Testament I wouldn't eat a pig either; it's the wormiest animal you can find. Fortunately, we now live in the times of meat thermometres. Mmm... Bacon. Even my fake father wasn't Kosher because, "There's no point anymore."

I still remember the day I was a kid, and clam chowder was for dinner. "Oh no, we're not making you a separate meal this time!" So I tried to leave the table, but my mother insisted I eat it. I knew from the smell it was something I didn't want. The first bite was nasty, the second was sickening, and by the third bite I had thrown up all over the dinner table, coating it in vomit. At that point, I was allowed to leave.

:D

Just because you had lousy clam chowder doesn't mean clams are inherently bad. I bet if you smelled my clam chowder cooking you would find your appetite.

Hell I'd be willing to bet I could make you eat trippa if I made it for you.

You will never get me to eat any shellfish. Not for religious reasons, but just because they are disgusting.

That's what they all say... until they smell those stuffed quahogs cooking.
